About Pesanggaran Power Plant
The Pesanggaran Power Plant in Denpasar, Bali, includes a gas turbine system supplied by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and generators from Mitsubishi Electric. This installation forms a key part of the plant's infrastructure, delivering reliable power as part of Bali's energy supply.
Designed with a focus on fuel flexibility and fast start-up capability, the system supports grid stability, especially during peak demand. Since converting to LNG in 2016, the Mitsubishi units have helped improve operational efficiency while contributing to reduced emissions, aligning with broader efforts toward cleaner power generation in the region.
